Coach Lucas Magni

Coach Lucas Magni is an excited and animated coach for both NorCal Rush and Mills High School (Millbrae). Coach Lucas is known for his intensity as a coach and as a player. Lucas graduated from Capuchino High School in 2016 and was a 4-year Varsity player there. Coach Lucas was a key piece of their 2016 record-breaking team, which had upset wins in the PAL and made a run in the CCS playoffs. Coach Lucas was All-PAL during his junior and senior seasons. His basketball IQ has been a key piece of his success for many years, but what sets him apart is his knockdown shooting. Coach Magni does a great job connecting with players of all skills levels and all ages, by finding common ground with everyone that steps foot in the gym. Coach Lucas received his Bachelor's in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology from Dominican University. Coach Lucas joined NorCal Rush in the Fall of 2023 and has been an irreplaceable asset ever since.
